Jefferson County “Building A Better Future” is a county-wide organization which is working to produce a clear vision of Jefferson County’s future and an action plan to see the County’s vision of the future become a reality. Jefferson County “Building A Better Future” is made up of citizens, business leaders, community leaders, and elected officials from every community in Jefferson County. This broad base of input and support ensures that the County as a whole is the focus of our efforts. We seek to have Jefferson County work as a cohesive, interconnected unit. Change is a force which acts on us at all times. Unmanaged and uncontrolled change is chaotic and potentially destructive. Change, however, can be channeled to produce positive opportunities rather than negative consequences. We expect to form a comprehensive action plan to shape the future of Jefferson County.
